Transfer your VHS and Camcorder Tapes to DVD (Boston Location)
VHS and camcorder tapes degrade with time because they are made of magnetic tape. The tape could even end up being left blank with the passing of the years. When you convert VHS to DVD this conversion process stops the degradation of the vdieo and preserves your movies in the digital mpeg2 format which is used in DVD and High Definition Video. In addition to the DVD, the digital video files on the disc will be valuable even when the DVD format itself has come and gone. Since the video files we place on your DVD are not encrypted, you can transfer them to future formats! The best thing, digital files do not degrade like magnetic tapes. The deterioration is stopped once the video transfer to DVD occurs and digital video is here to stay.
Why It’s Safe
We have taken every precaution to ensure the safety of your precious and irreplaceable home movies. We also employ film and video professionals to convert VHS to DVD. We transfer all of your film and video in our dedicated video transfer processing facility and ship the movies back directly to you and you can pick them up. We keep a digital back up of your movies for 14 days after shipment. We feel the safety of your movies is the most important aspect of our job.
How We Offer Our High Quality
We offer more than just a VHS to DVD transfer. During the transfer process, we’ll take out those annoying static and blue scenes that you get when you turn a VHS camcorder on and off. We will automatically insert chapter marks into your video. This way, when you’re watching the DVD you can quickly skip scenes - forward or backward - without having to watch through the entire movie. Choose your own movie title and we will print directly onto the DVD.
Professional Equipment
Many companies will claim they are the best, but we explain how and why we are the best. Our processing lab uses strictly professional equipment. Your VHS video cassette tape is run from one of our JVC SR-V101US units to our analog to digital converters. Your video tape to DVD conversion will be cleaned and digitized by the award winning Canopus ADVC300 analog to digital converter and then converted to the DVD format using our custom built DVD authoring system featuring the Primera Bravo II. We are happy to share the brand and model of our professional equipment because not only is our equipment beyond the price range of the hobbyist, but because our people and processes are what make us the best choice for converting VHS to DVD. Check out what our customers say about their finished DVDs.
